1. Thanks for sharing the news. I must say the review is a strange one. The idea that Ballin is the most sympathetic of the trio is way off base. The film gives hints that he is sleeping with Johnny, for one, but even if you deny this element, Gilda is the one who is most wounded. She is not truly sleeping around, just trying to hurt Johnny. She never should’ve married Ballin, but he thinks of her mostly as a prop for his image. Sorry to ramble on, but that review was an odd one!
